Halloween yoga… get ready!

Love Halloween? Me, too.

As we approach Oct. 31, we’re thinking of fun ways to get in the spirit. (Mamas with baby on-board, what will your belly-inspired costume entail?)

• I was tickled when Jesse Bennet mentioned that her Monday, 10:30 a.m. Vinyasa Flow class will feature a Halloweenish play list. (Her music is always so much fun!) Jesse also promises candy… and possibly a costume… and she also invites YOU to come practice in costume, too! Do you dare? (Sign up now!)

• Mamas of little ones, you’ll love this blog post from PranaMama about how to incorporate Halloween into a yoga practice with your kids! (Think “ghost breath” … oooooooh!)

• Bring your whole family to Blooma on Saturday (9:45 a.m.) and/or Sunday (11 a.m.) for Family Yoga with Sarah Sarzoza. Costumes welcome!

Blooma in the Star-Tribune

We love seeing mentions of Blooma in the newspaper… thanks, Star-Tribune for the story about fitness with babies!

One quick point of info we’d lovingly like to correct though: Blooma has yoga classes for ALL ages, including one of our most popular classes, Bring Your Own Baby Yoga (BYOB), for ages birth to pre-crawling.

Moms or other caregivers get a workout (and socialization!) while babies benefit from bonding, touch and mental and physical stimulation. You’ll even notice deeper sleep and heftier diapers after class.

We also offer  Tots Yoga (18 months-4 years old) AND Family Yoga for parents (or other caregivers) with their kiddos aged 3 and up.

Families, if you’re looking for family-centered fitness classes, we hope you’ll try Blooma. We love seeing babies and kids come in with all kinds of caregivers, from moms and dads, to grandparents and nannies!

Love,

Alisa, Sarah & the women of Blooma
