Have you experienced the magic of a Bring Your Own Baby (BYOB) yoga class and feel the calling to teach, too? Or perhaps you have a special place in your heart for mamas and babies and want to learn to facilitate a mom and baby yoga class.
Blooma’s own Betsy Sundell, assisted by the fabulous Corrine Gernes, are leading a BYOB Teacher Training April 26-28, held at Blooma St. Paul. Though yoga experience is encouraged, it is not required. This training is perfect for moms, doulas, nannies, and of course, yoga teachers!
Experience the art of crafting and facilitating a yoga class for the dynamic audience of new mamas and their sweet babies. During this rich weekend of teacher training we will dive into the main components of a BYOB yoga class: creating community, supporting new mamas, deepening relationship with baby, dancing a baby duet with yoga postures, strengthening postpartum bodies/rehabilitating the core, and empowering each individual mother voice. Our weekend together will be graced with special guests sharing their knowledge on a range of topics including: postpartum anatomy of the new mom, infant massage, postpartum depression and anxiety, and abdominal core work for the new mama body.
After this inspiring weekend, you’ll feel ready to lead a class of your own and bring the magic of mom and baby yoga to others!
