Hard First Labor? First-Time Mama? Read On!

If you’re pregnant — whether for the first time, or if you previously experienced a long labor, breech or sunny-side up baby — you don’t want to miss Gail Tully’s Spinning Babies for Expectant Parents workshop THIS Saturday at Blooma Minneapolis! You’ll learn easy exercises and techniques that can help rotate baby into a great position for birth.

When you think about baby being “head down,” you may think that’s the whole story to a straightforward birth — right? Turns out, there’s more to it than that.

Gail, a Certified Professional Midwife, has made the study of “optimal fetal positioning” her specialty. The premise of Spinning Babies is based on these basic ideas:

  1. Baby’s rotate to come from the womb through the pelvis and out. {Hooray!}
  2. Fetal position effects fetal rotation and descent.

Part two is where this weekend’s workshop comes into play. Who should come? Couples or mamas and a support person, and please wear yoga or workout pants without pockets or buttons.

This class is appropriate for any time in pregnancy — even early labor isn’t too late!
