A Request for Love & Light for Baby June

To our wonderful Blooma families, we are calling on you for support, love and strength as one of our own — Blooma teacher Lindsay McCoy — navigates an unexpected postpartum challenge.

Born peacefully in the water on May 19 (see WCCO’s video of Lindsay’s labor and delivery!), it was discovered almost two weeks later that a seemingly healthy baby June has several heart defects. She was immediately intubated, sedated, and moved to a ventilator at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

A strong, positive Lindsay has spent every waking moment with baby June.  Though June will require open heart surgery to repair the hole, she is currently stable, off the ventilator, and going home soon to grow stronger before surgery. Way to go, baby June!

As the McCoy family continues this difficult journey, in addition to parenting their two older children, Lindsay welcomes any healing energy you’d like to send their way. She also invites you to read her CaringBridge blog.

Lindsay, your Blooma family continues sending immeasurable amounts of love and light to you, to baby June, and to your entire family.

Love,

Alisa, Sarah & the women of Blooma
