Blooma Blossom: Lindsay’s Sweet June

Blooma wishes a BIG congratulations to one of our prenatal yoga teachers, Lindsay McCoy, on the birth of her sweet baby girl, June. One very cool detail: June was born in the caul (in the sac). This doesn’t happen often and some people consider it to be good luck. :)

Lindsay taught throughout her pregnancy and past her guess date, continuing to share her warmth, energy, calm, and beautiful pregnant belly with Blooma’s mamas. Below, Lindsay shares a note and video of photos from her birth. The photos, taken by Allison Kuznia, are gorgeous!

Be on the lookout, too, for an upcoming WCCO segment… Lindsay allowed a news crew into her birthing room to film HypnoBabies in action! We’ll share more info as we have it. Smooches to you, Linds! Mamas, feel free to leave a note of love for Lindsay below.

Love,

Alisa, Sarah & the women of Blooma

June Esther McCoy was born on May 19th at 5:55pm weighing 7lbs, 14oz.

Words can not even describe the complete joy, ecstasy, love, and peace that I experienced during the birth of baby June. It was truly a magical day that I will remember forever!

Daddy and midwife caught baby June and passed her through my legs to me, where I pulled her up into my arms as the other midwife gently lifted the sac off of her. Her 5-year-old big sister was able to cut the cord and it was such a joy to have my older kids experience this birth alongside me.

Throughout this whole journey, I felt the love and support of all the amazing and incredible mamas at Blooma who I have been so blessed to teach and do yoga beside throughout this pregnancy. I will especially remember those last few classes I taught already past my guess date. I look forward to seeing you all in BYOB and meeting those babies!

Peace,

Lindsay

This is a beautiful birth video, very moving. I really like the song with the video. Does anyone know the name of the song or who sings it?

We watched the segment on WCCO last night (5/31 at 10:15pm)! My husband actually called me over to see it (we used hypnobirthing with our last and loved the experience). It was a very sweet, extended segment – Lindsay and WCCO did a great job!
