Quinn Michelle at 2 days old.

We were delighted to welcome Quinn Michelle to the world on Oct. 7, 2010 at ‎7 lbs, 14 oz and 20.5 inches. She has reddish blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and long fingers and toes.

Thank you to Blooma and the wonderful teachers for providing mom with a lovely community during pregnancy and mom and baby with a lovely community now.

Dear Sarah and Women of Blooma,

Our daughter Harper Elizabeth arrived on Nov. 2 after only four hours of active labor and a few quick & painless pushes! She weighed 6 lbs, 9 oz and was 20.5 inches long.

I feel blessed to have achieved a natural birth that was positive and rewarding. Okay, I wasn’t loving it the entire time, but ultimately it was so satisfying!

I had an amazing team of helpers including my husband, my sister (who may have discovered her true calling as a doula!), and two awesome midwives.

I’m grateful for all the support from the Blooma community.

Dear Alisa and Blooma,

Our beautiful baby boy, William (Will) Anders, was born at 9:29 a.m. on Sept. 4. He weighed 7 lbs, 15 oz, and was 21 3/4 long. I just wanted to send a quick note to say thanks so much for providing such a great place for prenatal (and now BYOB) yoga and to connect with other mamas. I loved Meredyth’s class on Monday nights—it was so inspring and such a great escape!

I’m so grateful to my amazing doula, Alisa. I don’t think we would have made it to the hospital at 8 1/2 centimeters and through nine hours of pushing without her! After 24 hours of labor and nine hours of pushing, I had a cesarean birth and am so proud of myself and thankful for the support of my amazing husband and doula!
